LET'S TALK, viernes 25 de febrero a las 19:00 h, (4ª planta)

This week let's ask the question; is the institution of marriage still revelant today?

In Spain and the West in general, the concept and practice of what a 'relationship' is, is changing. Today it is common (or more common) for people to interpret a relationship outside in concept of marriage. For instance, de facto, open, poly love or same sex relationships are increasingly more common and are accepted both socially and legally.

So where does this leave the traditional marriage? Out in the cold or does it, despite these changes, still represent the bedrock of social unity? What do you think? Is the institution of marriage going to become less and less important? Or is the desire to commit to someone through the 'marriage bond' as strong as ever?
