Equality is a utopia we are all struggling to achieve. On one hand are job opportunities and the work place while on the other hand the domestic scene is a dominant influence. Legislation undoubtedly has it's part to play but somewhere in the middle of all this is language with all it's cultural baggage and long, slow evolution. The audible container of our thoughts expresses what we want to transmit but also, often inadvertantly, bears prejudice and even insult
