This week let’s talk about how language influences the way we relate to others and the world around us. That a bridge is masculine in Spanish, feminine in German and has no gender in English affects the way the object is perceived. How you name a colour may limit your range of perception or liberate it.
Does knowlage of dialects and regional languages enrich the speaker's awareness. Should these languages be preserved or would it be easier if we all had a common language?
