 Let’s talk about how language influences the way we perceive the world around us. How one understands colour, texture or feelings or appreciates musical sounds will vary depending on the words, expressions and grammatical flexibility one has to comprehend nuances and subtle distinctions not to mention the effect of language on culture and vice versa. Have you noticed how speakers of different languages have a different way of looking at elements of their environment? Do you see differences of perception between your own language and others that you know?
