Would the world be a better place if it was run by 16 year olds? In some countries 16 year old teenagers have the right to vote and more countries are considering expanding the electoral franchise to that age group. Greta Thunberg has had a huge and generally respected worldwide impact and many other young people are also deeply involved in activities that have a positive repercussion on society. Should we pay more attention to the ideas and beliefs of young people and give them a valid say in the future of the world they will inherit?
