How anxious are you?
Do you find your heart beating rapidly when you enter a party and have no one to talk to. Or when you are attempting to converse in English, do your hands start to sweat? If so, you are not alone. Anxiety is a common disorder and many people struggle to overcome its debilitating impact.
This week, let's talk about what things make us feel anxious, worried or fearful. What situations do you feel most anxious, whether it be public speaking, riding a bike or that dreaded party where you have to speak to strangers! And more importantly, what strategies do we use to mitigate against its effect. How, in other words, do we overcome anxiety?
