Cities should be for people, not cars. Urban planning has developed along with our love for the motor car to such an extent that we have become dependant on it's use and alienated the space for human interaction. Some cities such as Amsterdam have managed to reverse the trend to some degree. Do you think we should transform our urban spaces to give less space for cars and more for human interaction? How do you envisage our cities will evolve with the change in attitude to the contaminating effects of our approach to transport?

Come to your public library on Tuesday or Thursday for a fun English chat (native speakers free of charge), for further details please ask at the information desk.
