Let's Talk about independence. With the clamour for regions to declare the desire to become independent from their parent states, other types of independence are often forgotten. Some try to be independent from the banking system or from the food retailers while young people strive to become independent from their parents. How independent is it possible to be? What are the implications of being independent and what costs are involved? Come to your public library on Thursday at 4.30pm or Friday at 7pm for a chat in English, everybody welcome (native English speakers free of charge).
