Let's talk about the power of words. Some words used repeatedly in association with a particular event may become culturally associated with a particular meaning which is not necessarily understood by other users of the language. Words in one language (especially compound words) may have no easy translation into another language leading to misunderstanding and confusion. Do words have emotive and evocative powers?
