LET'S TALK, jueves 8 de noviembre a las 16.30 h., Seminario o viernes 9 a las 19 horas, Fondo Local.

At 11 o'clock on the 11th day of the 11th month Britain grinds to a halt to remember those who gave their lives defending British interests. People wear red poppies in their lapels and wreaths of poppies are laid at war memorials across the country. This year is the 100th anniversary of the end of the first world war.
Do war memorials serve a purpose? Have any lessons been learnt? Is the world a safer and more stable place? Are we actively doing everything possible to avoid repeating past mistakes?
Come along to your public library for a fun chat in English on Thursday at 4.30pm or Friday at 7.00pm. (Native English speakers free of charge) For more information please ask at the information desk.
