LET'S TALK, jueves 30 de noviembre a las 16:30 h. o viernes 1 de diciembre a las 19:30 h., Seminario

Let's talk about charity. The popular saying, "charity begins at home," means that one should look after the family before aiding others or that the needy in your proximity should receive attention before worrying about helping poor hungry children in danger of starvation in some far off, war ridden country.
Christmas is a traditional time to be charitable and to volunteer to help those in need but shouldn't the authorities be concerned that so many people are hungry or homeless? Isn't it the responsibility of the state to ensure that basic needs are covered?
Come along to your public library for a fun chat in English on Thursdays at 4.30pm or Fridays at 7.30pm. (Native English speakers free of charge) For more information please ask at the information desk.
