LET'S TALK, 16th Thursday & 17th Friday of January

This week let's talk about the gender balance in culture. Although culture is a very wide ranging term, in general women are more involved in promoting and attending cultural events however they are under represented in the seats of power where decisions are taken. There are some areas of culture where "traditionally" one gender or the other predominates. Should it be this way? What can be done to achieve equality in all spheres of culture? Come along to your public library and share your thoughts on Thursday at 4.30pm or Friday at 7pm.
